Silvia Susana Real

Silvia Susana Real is a Certified Translator graduated (with honors) from the Universidad del Salvador, an Argentinean university, in the year 1979.

She also got the degree of Professor of Philosophy (also with Honors), from the School of Philosophy and Arts of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1984.

After completing English language improvement courses, specialized in law and business in London in 1980, she created her own Certified Translators Office, Traducciones Buenos Aires®, on December 21, 1981.

Took-up management and marketing courses at the OAS Former Scholars' Center, in the city of Buenos Aires.

Completed consecutive oral translation courses given by the top renowned translator Ms. Lily McDonough, from the USA Embassy in Buenos Aires.

Has built-up a large clients' portfolio from the public and private sectors, especially pertaining to the law and business areas.

Has worked in her capacity as certified translator (written and oral assignments), in a number of court proceedings. e.g. those carried in the Federal Criminal Courts.

At present, besides doing her own translations and supervising her team's translations, she provides advice to a number of professionals on written/oral communication, including discourse analysis and assessment of language registers and academic papers/releases.


Adriana Real

Adriana Real graduated from Universidad del Salvador (with honors) as a Technical Translator.

She joined YPF S.A. to work in her capacity as such (1980-1993). As a result of the experience gained during such period she translated several technical papers (from/into English) that were later published in both domestic and international renowned journals, such as Geophysics, World Oil, Oilfield Review, as well as papers presented at international congresses (SPE, LACPEC, amongst others.)

She joined Traducciones Buenos Aires® in 1994 as a partner specializing in the provision of translation services via e-mail or phone, and text editing in English and Spanish with special emphasis on oil and gas.

She is one of the few translators that is really familiar with oil and gas issues and jargon and has more than thirty years’ presence in both the domestic and foreign oil market.


Guillermo Martín Rodríguez Etchegaray

Guillermo Martín Rodríguez Etchegaray has taken up the Communication Sciences career in the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and graduated as an Edition Designer from the Nueva Escuela de Diseño y Comunicación (New Design and Communication College, Buenos Aires) in the year 2003.

He is Traducciones Buenos Aires® Edition Designer and Translations Project Coordinator.


María Schollaert

María Schollaert earned a Baccalaureate Degree (focused on Social and Judicial Sciences) (with honors) from Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús High School (Belgrano).

Graduated as a Certified Translator (English language) from Universidad de Buenos Aires on November 25, 2010 and has been designated (on account of her University Record) to participate in the “Award for Tomorrow’s Translators” Competition organized by the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). [Association of Certify Translators of Buenos Aires]

She has been doing translation work focused mainly on legal and business matters for Traducciones Buenos Aires® since 2005.
